Visitor Search Engine vs. Social Media Visitor
There is still a lot of debate in the world of blogging, especially for the problem of visitors related to Adsense, especially issues related to CPC Adsense.
Many say that visitors coming from search engines (henceforth we call search engine visitors) are better than visitors coming from social media (hereinafter we call social media visitors) especially the impact on Adsense earnings.
Many say, "don't share articles to social media ..." if you don't want the CPC Adsense to be low.
Is it true that sharing articles to social media can cause CPC Adsense to be low?
Of course this has to be explained scientifically so as not to continue to cause confusion among bloggers.
Because we know that sharing articles to social media is one way to bring visitors to our blog.
So what happens if the fact that sharing articles to social media can cause CPC Adsense to be small so that income from Adsense is getting smaller?
Of course there are some of you who will ask like that. Because in my opinion, all the knowledge in this world is based on LOGIC.
sorry if I'm wrong, this is just from my understanding, a rustic blogger who only graduated from high school.
So, to find out why someone mentions that visitors from social media can reduce the value of CPC Adsense, we must look at the logic first to know the cause and of course later will also know how to overcome them.
Then, what logic should we see?
To understand this logic, of course we must first understand how Adsense displays ads on blogs.
How To Display Adsense Ads On Blogs
Adsense displays advertisements on blogs in 3 ways namely based on visitor interest, keywords, and visitor history.
And the best determinant to get a high Adsense CPC is the keyword factor that we use in our articles.
Many advertisers put high-paying ads that target certain keywords.
If we can create articles with these keywords (this term is commonly called HPK or High Payment Keywords or high-paying keywords), then of course the possibility of advertisements with high prices will appear.
By knowing how Adsense displays these ads, of course then we will better understand the effects of search engine visitors and social media.
Effects of Visitor Search Engine and Social Media Visitor
Now let us know the logic of what happens between search engine visitors and social media and its effect on Adsense.
Visitor Search Engine
As we know that search engine visitors find our blog articles on search pages based on the keywords they type in the search box or what they say or ask about search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, and others.
With these keywords they enter our blog articles through search pages. So here Adsense will get keywords, interests, and history of visitors to display ads.
If the keywords used include PPC plus the interest and history of visitors for these keywords, then of course most likely the ads that are displayed will be in the form of high-paid ads.
And because the interest of visitors to the ads is higher because there is still one keyword with their interest, then the possibility of ad clicks will be even higher.
That's why search engine visitors or also called organic visitors are very desirable by all Adsense publishers.
Logic, right?
Social Media Visitor
While social media visitors, whether from the results of sharing or advertising, who come to our blog articles not from the results of search keywords.
They enter our article because our article is in front of them on social media. But wait, don't underestimate yet.
They click on our article because of course there is interest in our article. This means they have the same interests as the articles that we make.
Well here Adsense cannot capture visitor keywords and only absorbs keywords from the article, only gets the interest and history of visitors. So that the ads that appear are not targeted or mixed.
That is why we will get ads with low CPC.
But wait, there is a solution to get ads with high CPC for social media visitors.
It is of course by making articles that contain HPK. So when we share it on social media, the netted visitors are visitors who have the same interests as the HPK that we use.
Although not as accurate as search engine visitors, but this will give the possibility of ads that appear with high CPC will be more and more.
Makes sense, right?
Conclusion
Well, finally here we can get a conclusion between visitors from search engines and visitors from social media.
The point is to make the article with PPC, write the article properly and correctly (both vocabulary, spelling, and writing words and writing HTML), and make the page can be loaded as quickly as possible.
That way we will not worry anymore to get visitors, both from search pages and from social media.
Which can't be that:
Spamming articles with the intention of tricking the search engine, for example with hidden keywords or keyword stuffing that ultimately is not relevant to the article. As a result, our blog will be labeled spam and can lead to deindex.
Shares articles to social media forums that violate forum rules. There are several forums that prohibit members from sharing articles. If we break them we will be marked as spam by the forum admin. As a result, we will be banned from the forum, and worse, we cannot share articles on the social media.
So, now we do not worry that the CPC Adsense will decline because of sharing to social media, as long as we make articles with PPC and write articles properly.
Because social media is also one of the ways to bring blog visitors.
Even if we do not share articles to social media, there will be a possibility that visitors will share our articles to their social media.
Even if we do not provide a share button so that our writing is not shared with social media, there are many ways to share writing with social media.
So don't worry about social media. Logic, right?
What we don't think is God's power, because that would not make human logic.
