Ways to Stable or even Increase Blog traffic visitors even though you Are rarely Post.

Posting on a blog regularly and consistently is one of the obstacles that is often faced by a blogger.

no matter the new or old blogger must often experience a feeling of laziness, no ideas, no inspiration or no enthusiasm to write posts on his blog.

Especially for bloggers who do not have a hobby of writing background like me, every day it feels like to stop blogging.

It is no longer a secret that the more diligent the posts, usually blog visitors will also increase. But even so does not mean that posting diligently is the only way to increase blog visitors.

You can still increase blog visitors or at least create stable blog visitors, even though you rarely post on your blog.

A. Create Evergreen Content

Some of you may have just heard the term Evergreen Content. The purpose of Evergreen Content here is a content (content = posting) that remains relevant even if it is read at any time, or easy language content that is not stale.

Most of the posts on this blog are Evergreen Content which is certainly the reason why this blog's traffic is stable and even rises even though it hasn't been posted for weeks to months.

The following are some examples of articles that can be referred to as Evergreen Content:

1. Article Guide or Tutorial

A guide article or tutorial is an article that teaches step by step to do something.

Examples of the most widely read guide articles or tutorials on this blog are the Learning Guide to Blogging to Make Money.

2. Article Definition

In this blog you can say there are no articles of this type, but in the future I want to fill more of this blog with article definitions.

Article definition here means that an article that explains the meaning, purpose or concept of a thing.

For example the topic of this blog is about blogging, so I can write an article about "What is a Blog?"

Maybe you are wondering, the definition article already exists in Wikipedia, why do you make this model article?

Indeed, most of the definitions articles can be found on Wikipedia, but it would be smarter if we could explain things in their own style.

Because most people are lazy to read Wikipedia because the style of language used is not good to read and difficult to understand.

3. Article List

List articles are articles that display a list of things. This type of article usually has a number in the title.

4. And others ...

There are many other types of articles that can become an Evergreen Content.

The important thing to remember when you want to create Evergreen Content is to make sure that the content you create is looking for it.

It's useless if we make posts that are not easily stale but there is no demand.

1. Update existing content

Many bloggers think that to update a blog we have to publish new posts, even though to update a blog can also update an existing post.

So when you don't have an idea, you can use the time you have to update your existing posts. For example correcting typos, making it more complete, or updating the information in it.

There are several benefits that can be obtained if we consistently update the posts on our blog:

  • Making posts become more quality from time to time
  • Get a good ranking on Google because Google likes quality articles and is also up-to-date.
  • Of course, if you already get a good ranking will have an effect on increasing visitor traffic.

2. Increase Blog Promotion

The latter is in my opinion the most important but many bloggers are not too concerned, namely blog promotion.

Blogging is not just a matter of how diligently posting articles on blogs, but also a matter of how active in promoting blogs.

If your blog already contains content that is not stale, then we must promote the content so that more people will read it.

Instead of spending time making new posts, it's better to spend time promoting existing content. In my opinion, this method is far more effective.

Conclusion :
The conclusion is clear, my friend does not need to post articles blindly so that blog visitors are increasing. But even so it does not mean that after reading this post, my friend can directly lazy to post articles on the blog.

If it is able to post articles diligently then it will be better, but if you feel unable (for reasonable reasons) then it's better not to be forced. Use the methods that I have written above.
